SCAVENGER HUNT AT THE MUSÉE DES ARTS ET MÉTIERS
with Matt Black
Sunday November 16, 2014, 14h00-16h00
Presented by GiF's Little Mad Scientists' Club
Ages 7-10 years-old

Calling all our budding scientists for a scavenger hunt with Matt Black at the Musée des Arts et Métiers on Sunday November 16, 2014, 14h00-16h00.
"What is Foucault’s Pendulum?  Where is the Marly Machine?  What does a Magdebourg Hemisphere do?  Who dug the Channel Tunnel?  Hidden in central Paris, in an old church, is a little-known gem of a museum – the Musée des Arts et Métiers (a museum of science and technology).  In it you can find everything from cars cut in half, planes made of cloth and computers the size of your bedroom to robot dolls, jet engines and microscopes from nearly five hundred years ago.  Come along with Matt Black on a scavenger hunt to find treasures of the history of science and technology from the eras of Galileo, Lavoisier and Edison to the present day!”
