Description: When we think of books we usually think of mass-produced paperbacks, coffee table books or picture books for kids. We don't think of their extraordinary variety such as books with letters inside, flip books, accordion books, unusually shaped books, scrapbooks, box books, fabric books, scrolls and even matchbox books.
This class will explore some of the endless possibilities of the book as an art form. You will choose or invent a format you want and put it all together. Different materials will be provided. However, if you already have some ideas of what you would like to do, please bring them along.
The three hour workshop will be held on rue Cambronne, Paris 75015, address will be sent with confirmation.
About Cybele: Cybèle graduated from Yale University, studied at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, the School of Visual Arts in New York, and the Skowhegan School in Maine. She has also taught art classes for children at New York’s Discovery Program.

Best regards,
Helen Sahin Connelly
